Notable Aspects:
The siirt rugs of Anatolia are flatwoven with goat hair (mohair). This gives them a fuzzy pile that is unlike other rugs, almost comparable to a lighter shag. Their designs are typically very minimalist, as seen here, and as such are popular choices for modern design.
